Apart from lurking silently on radical feminist blogs I read NTHE sites: (Near Term Human Extinction) sites, because, according to the science, Near Term Human Extinction within one or two generations is where the parasitical/ cancer tumorous system of patriarchy and Homo Rapiens (males) have brought not only humans but all complex life on Earth. The Sixth Extinction experienced in the 5 billion years or so of
Earth’s lifetime and presently underway is being caused by Homo Rapiens.
Why is this so thorougly ignored on radical feminist blogs? Please don’t tell me that radical feminists – of all people- are climate change denialists?That is, my radical feminist reflections/ spinning/ taking my thoughts to their logical end have not resulted in Mary Daly’s happy beliefs that women will overcome patriarchy, that there will be a cosmic revolution or that evolution (an unthinking, blind process that cares not a jot about women) will somehow step in at the very last moment and save us and the planet from the male disease.
Instead, my radical feminism – based as it always has been on the search for Truth no matter how ugly and unpalatable- led to the study and cross-analysis of biology, climate science, ecology and complex systems theory.
I wanted the Big Picture of what is happening to the planet because of Homo Rapiens. And that picture is not a pretty or hopeful one.
Hence, whether the male Y chromosome goes extinct within 5 million years (as stated by Professor Jenny Graves) or whether it goes extinct within 1 million years is moot. The rabid ape Homo Rapiens has done so much damage in its 250,000 years on Earth that it is not only extincting itself but everything else along with it.I believe all radical feminists should be preparing themselves now for what will be the collapse of civilization because the reality and inevitabily of that is, perphaps, one of our blind spots: a dangerous one.
To answer your question, Bronte, as to why this has been ‘thoroughly ignored’ on my blog: I did not know about it. For your information, of course I have never been a climate change denialist, I have always attentively read information on the destruction of the environment, read about the floodings to come, about the collapse of the monetary system, of this and that, but I believed, as Mary Daly did, that some of us could survive the impending doom, and hoped the next generation of survivors would only be females.
Now as I read Bronte’s comment a few days ago, it struck me and was very compelling but I read it in a haste (my attention span on computers is limited these days -maybe I need glasses?- so I usually just read or write things fast) and skimmed past the reference to Near Term Human Extinction (NTHE), especially as there was no link. So as much as this comment was alarming it didn’t stir me particularly, and the next day went on as usual. I didn’t really get the message, I thought ‘oh well, this makes sense, I just hope females will still survive’. Until a friend, yesterday, told me what she had found by googling “Near Term Human Extinction”.
Oh. My. I looked it up for myself. There’s this guy called Guy McPherson, who’s a spokesperson of all of this. I googled various entries and quickly found his website. And I found this essay, a summary of the findings on climate change. Read it yourselves. I’m not going to quote anything because it is too long, just read it very carefully.
What this guy, Guy, says, or rather what he demonstrates with the support of hundreds of long term scientific evidence from many sources including very conservative and mainstream sources, is that all life on this planet will come to extinction by 2030. The major cause of this extinction will be that the global warming and melting of the ice has triggered a series of feedback loops of toxic gas emissions such as methane and carbon dioxyde which were trapped in the soils and underwaters of the earth by the ice and frost. These feedback loops have already started, are now unstoppable and life on earth is already on its way to extinction. No technology can stop this – especially since male technology is part of the problem and their use and fabrication will only emit more greenhouse gases. Even if men’s system collapsed now, if all men died and we returned back to stone age, it is unstoppable. Unprecedented levels of methane and carbone dioxyde have already been released into the atmosphere because of the warming and the more gas is emitted, the more the planet heats because of the greenhouse effects of the gas, and the more gas is emitted again. Once the air is too intoxicated plants will start dying too and if all or most plants die together, all the carbon dioxyde they sequestered will be released too, which only further intoxicates the air. There will simply be no more oxygen to breathe and the time it will take for the earth to regain cool temperatures and for the gases to be sequestered again, if that ever happens, which might be between 100 or thousands of years according to the extent of the damage, all species and life will have been already gone. I’m just paraphrasing these statements from memory, so read his essay for detailed information and explanations of the different feedback loops.
Right. This is estimated to happen by 2030… 2030! That gives us 15 years to live, if we even survive that long. Before that there will be floodings and terrible tsunamis, the sea level is likely to rise at least 50 meters higher. The monetary system will crumble down before, and I shudder to think what men will do once their system falls apart and they will no longer be able to hide the truth.
Do I believe this? Is this credible, is it a hoax? If only. How could this not be credible? The facts are indisputable. Who am I to dispute the long term data and biological facts observed and measured by hundreds of scientists? I’m the first to be critical about male science but this doesn’t seem to be a matter of personal opinion to me. Even if there were room for doubt or error regarding the probability of certain species surviving such as bacteria or fungi, the evidence is so compelling that I don’t think it’s an option to ignore it. I sorely wish it wouldn’t be true.
Now. One by one, my reactions.
It is a Strange moment. I cannot describe the sense of utter horror and grief that first overcame me. It seems utterly surreal yet it is real. Worse than I could have ever imagined. Life on earth as we know will no longer exist. Our beloved, sacred Mother Earth, how I love you, how it grieves me to know that all this beauty of life will disappear. I look by the window, at the trees, the grass, the birds, dear companions. How painful. This is a terrible moment of realising.
I’ve known all along that patriarchy would collapse. It confirms what we have been hearing more or less explicitly for some time now. It also confirms some visions that women have shared with me. I myself have been saying it out loud for a while, that men’s system will collapse, maybe not so much online. My only question was whether men would destroy the rest of us in their demise or if some of us would survive. We now have the answer. It appears that men will take everything away with them.
Men, homo rapiens, you scum, you filth. There is no word to describe the extent of your evil, you are pure evil, pure lechery. I hate you, how I hate you. In the 250,000 years of your rotten, defunct existence, you have managed to kill 5 million years of life on earth.
Men like Guy McPherson, you are also part of the problem. How dare you – yes I’m talking to YOU, and to all liberal men like DGR & co, and I hope you will come across this – indeed how dare you continue to write about the near term life extinction while pretending it is “humanity” who has sentenced to death all life on earth. The unstoppable death-machine has always only been orchestrated by the homo rapiens. By men. YOU. Women are not and have never been responsible for the atrocities committed by men, for men’s global industrial rape and death system. By lying and deceiving you are continuing to be part of the problem, because you are masking the fact that the obvious solution all the time, long before the extinction of all life was impending, was to depopulate the earth of males or to reduce them to manageable levels again – only by doing so would have men’s patriarchal and industrial necrophilic sado-system come to an end without destroying the rest of life.
Those men warning about the final extinction have existed for centuries, predicting the end of the world. Ffs men’s end is even predicted in their genes, their dead-endness is constitutive of their biology. All of men’s stories have a deadpoint, a “the end”. Every second film for the last decades has been about the apocalypse. They Know. Even the Mayan predicted the apocalypse at this period, they got it right. Why have none of them taken action? If these men cared for the planet and knew men would end up killing her, why haven’t they created a global male euthanising service to save the planet? Women know how to care for life. We have known better all along. Goddess knows women have been trying for millennia to put an end to male rule by all means possible, including by culling men. All this time you KILLED us!! you SUPPRESSED us, exterminated women and our life-preserving, earth-loving societies, our cultures, our lives!! And now it’s too late.
Now, even if a few men talk of committing suicide and of reducing global human population – well that’s still doing us a disservice, you egotistic liberal cowards. How many men, at best, will commit suicide? Maybe 1%? Or one in five thousand? What difference will that make? Let me tell you: if the least worse men bother to commit suicide without bothering to euthanise the rest of man-kind, they will be leaving women alone to fend with the worst of worse males: the MRAs, the pornographers, the army-men, the right-wing climate-change denialists, etc. Not to mention the problem of the suiciders that will kill their wives, mothers and daughters along with them, of course. You fucking idiots! You will be leaving the few moments of life on earth to be ruthlessly raped, pillaged and looted by the reamining barbaric males.
So, to all men, before all life goes extinct, you could at least do us the favour of leaving us these 15 last years free of your foul presence. You never really cared about life anyway. Also, isn’t it ironic that men can publicly talk of drastically decreasing global human population as a final attempt to save the planet without anyone batting an eyelid, when we merely state the obvious – men are responsible for this global, now irrevertible catastrophe, and since they will never change the obvious solution would have been to cull them (which is now pointless) – well, we are threatened to death, killed, and heavens knows all the atrocities men do to us. Anyway, decreasing ‘human’ population isn’t a solution because the problem aren’t ‘humans’ but males.
Phew. This was the rage part.
As I continued reading the essay, as with any moment when we are faced with imminent death and annihilation, everything around me seemed futile, petty and distant. I thought of the things that mattered most in life and all I want is to spend as much time as I can with female companions, whether human, animal, plant or elemental, before we go. We now more literally than ever before, have nothing to lose. I had already begun a survival plan for myself and female relatives for some time, but it certainly encouraged me to pursue this more readily. This feeling resonated with another nagging feeling that I’ve had for several months now, which is that all my radical feminist undertakings seemed to be in slow motion, in such a stark way that it felt like a deliberate message. The more I attempted to respect my limits and the limits of life-time and rythm in the things I did to keep on communicating radical feminism to women, in all and any possible ways, the more I realised how ridiculously slow and tiny it was compared to the sheer speed and scope of men’s destruction. I felt like a snail competing with light-speed, or a twig competing with a tornado. Especially because our situation is now so dire, that most of what I do, I have to it alone since I am either separated in distance from other radical feminists or most of my closer friends don’t have time, swamped by survival pre-occupations. I don’t have much time either but I’m the only I know who has the time to devote myself almost entirely to feminism in ways that I choose. I was more and more coming to a conclusion that radical feminism could not at this point, in and of itself, save women and the planet, and if something were to save us, it would be greater than us. These intuitions or subliminal thoughts became explicit through the last conversation, especially thanks to the intervention of Tracy.
Wandering further into my troubled thoughts, I wondered what would happen with our souls and the souls of all these dear beings on earth once we will be separated from our earthly bodies. Will we continue to hover around the earth and wail the loss of life like rattling ghosts? Will we seek reincarnation somewhere else, maybe on another habitable planet? Will we go and find our life companions and live happily ever after in the ether? Will men continue to parasite our souls even in after life? I remember a woman telling me that the problem of maleness was not only a problem on earth but reflected a cosmic problem, on the level of the universe. Well, I have no idea whether this is true or even if it can be verified.
I now acutely understand why, since when I remember, I have always felt sadness -as well as joy- whenever coming in full contact with the elements and wild life. The sadness was a feeling of loss from the present and past destruction and of a loss to come. It came from the intuition that we would be parted eventually. I think we must have all experienced this more or less consciously since the dead-endness is written in the DNA of men’s civilisation. I now see how real this sense of loss is. I have probably come to life here and now to witness this last phase of patriarchy – or maybe even the last phase of this kind of life on earth. For some life will survive, I am sure. Maybe bacteria, fungi of some sort. I wish I could have been old and left just a few years ago, like Mary Daly and millions of other women. They are lucky, they left at the right time.
I suddenly remembered a time when I was an adolescent, and I used to laugh and say that I would die when I’d be 37, or something like that, for no paticular reason, and people would look at me weirdly. I thought it was an old enough age to die, I saw it as very far away then. Until someone told me “that’s an early age to die”, so I decided it wasn’t such a good idea after all. Later I interpreted it as the effect of a family member dying when I was young, and that strong awareness of death was part of my life for a very long time, so maybe it didn’t occur to me that I could live longer. Maybe I hated myself and my life so much then that I didn’t care if I died. Maybe because I disliked old people because my grandparents had always been stiff and I didn’t see the point of living old if I were to become like them. I tried to remedy this by picturing myself older and seeing it as a good thing, and accepting myself at all stages of life. What if it had something to do with the fact that I subliminally knew I wouldn’t live very old? Maybe, maybe not. It’s a flash of memory that crossed my mind while reading the essay.
Today is one day after I started reading this essay. My life will never be quite the same again, now that I have this picture in mind, now that it is so clear. It is strange to see to how much we can adapt. I am somewhat more tranquil than yesterday. What is strange is that despite this knoweldge of extinction, which still seems surreal, I also know that we will win. That we will succeed. This intuition has never left me. What kind of form will this really take I wonder, maybe this is the only solution to the end of maleness. And something new will emerge again. I still wish this wouldn’t happen, I wish this wouldn’t be true. But somehow it feels somewhat peaceful to know that there will be an end to all of this.

Even though people are listening to McPherson at this time, and the message is likely to be heard (while DGR itself has been no-platformed recently due to their stance on Gender) Jensen fails to use this opportunity to Introduce or Educate anyone on Radical Feminism, even though it’s relevant. Neither man mentions either Intercourse (PIV) or Rape, or what men are likely to do to specifically Females in this Disaster scenario.

@blackmetal, the only suspicion i would have wouldn’t be wrt “hard green” environmentalism as such or whatever term is used, but because it’s a man speaking and of course there is also a possibility he is lying or exaggerating or distorting. Well we already know he is distorting and lying in that he lies about male responsibility. I’m not a scientist and won’t ever have the time or money to be one at this stage, so I can’t verify the information for myself. I will have to look at all the links and sources closer, so I can see for myself and draw conclusions by myself with the material at hand. All this is very time consuming however.
But I think it’s also important to prepare ourselves to the possibility that this is true. Because it might well be. In fact now that more time has passed, and as a friend just pointed out to me, I realise that it doesn’t make any difference whether it’s going to happen now or in a century, whether patriarchy will collapse in this way or that. It of course makes a very big difference eventually but now, in my every day life, it doesn’t change much, how could it? To Address your Question Witch Wind, could this be a Hoax or does anyone think this is False, of course it Could Be, and Yes they Do. It is a bit Discouraging to see anyone Trust the Patriarchy to tell the Truth on such (or any) matters however, and on a Radical Feminist blog! There is much that can be Discussed, even if it is not empirically True, although Empirical Truth is our constant Enemy as Radical feminists isn’t it, considering the Source (men and males). We have Little Choice but to pick a side, one Group of Males over the Other, and make often life-altering Decisions based on that. This has always been a Problem for all Women and all Feminists. This is where our own Experience and Intuition can be used to tip the scales, if we aren’t sure. In my own case, I have Never been able to Imagine Myself as an Older Person. Even as a Very Young person, I could see myself Being (eventually becoming) my Parents age, but no Older. This was always a Gap in my Vision and my Imagination that seemed Odd to me, but it was Undeniable, as if there was simply Nothing there. So, when I read about the Possibility of NTE within the next 15 years, I Re-membered this about Myself. NTE is in fact Consistent with this Gap in Vision that has Always been with me. It does not Mean it’s Definitely going to happen, but there is a Consistency about it that goes Pretty Deep into my own Life and my own Memory, and my own Vision. It is Notable, and I took Note of it.
Radical Feminists have also been talking about Self Reinforcing Feedback Loops for some time, and this is a Central idea being discussed in NTE circles. In our case, we have spoken about Men and Patriarchy and how through men’s Sex and Violence against women, they have created too many Men and killed too many women. These same Too many men are continuing to use Sex and Violence against women which only causes the scales to tip even further, and this man-made (climate) change is not even relatively proportional or manageable anymore but Exponential and Unmanageable. So again, we see Parallels here that we can Take Note of and Discuss.
We can also Take note of the behavior of the Men involved in this movement, including Allegedly Feminist Male Allies and DGR in particular, where Derrick Jensen has utterly failed here in his Alleged mission to educate and integrate Radical Feminism with Environmentalism. We can extrapolate that this is because he is a Man, and that Men cannot be Radical Feminists, no matter what they say. The fact that DGR has taken a Leadership position within Radical Feminism can and Should be discussed in Light of this. We should make Note of the pervasive Necrophilia of all males, even the ones who claim to be Different, or even Remorseful, like Guy McPherson, who gives Pornographic Titles to his Articles about NTE and submits them to MRA websites like Good Men Project. These men aren’t Different and they aren’t Remorseful either.
There is Much that can come from this Discussion, and Shutting the conversation Down with “Trust the Government” is antithetical to this Happening. I hope this Discussion will happen, and that Women know know More about NTE, like Bronte who brought it up in the First Place, might Come Around and talk more about what they Know, and what has been Of Particular Note to them, and why.
yes, well this was really a gut response to what I had read, and now that I have more hindsight I realise that my feelings and thoughts are rapidly evolving. I’m also annoyed that I trusted a male point of view to this extent and shared it in this unmitigated way to women. I was going to add about McPherson, another aspect of his work seems to be his fascination for the complete annihilation of life on earth. It is almost as if he *wants* it to happen. Tracy here is not criticising the men of DGR for calling themselves feminists when they aren’t, but criticising the “male allies” for failing even the tiniest efforts asked of them: throwing out the word patriarchy in appropriate context, naming men’s responsibility and male sexual violence and how it links to this global catastrophe. This really takes nothing to do it. If they were really genuinely male allies it would have been totally obvious to them to do this, but they didn’t. And the fact that they didn’t, and that when they do mention patriarchy it’s only in a context where the audience is more likely to be female and feminist, ie in front of feminist women whom they need to manipulate, well that shows the extent of their commitment to feminism.
also what do you mean by humans, and by letting them die? whatever men choose to do, women won’t have a choice in this. i think it’s a matter of how we accept mentally what they’re doing or not, if we decide whether it’s a lost game already or if there is still hope for the future of females. Again when we say ‘lets stop giving birth’, the agent here isn’t women who are used as womb machines by men. It is men who force women to give birth. If men force this on women it implies that women can’t decide to stop giving birth unless they free themselves from men.

@ tracy, that’s an interesting point wrt to applying the notion of feedback loop on male anti-woman behaviour as a whole. it certainly works as an analysis of the reinforcing and exponential lethality of their system of domination. perhaps the difference with rape as the individual, primary form of destruction of women by men is that men could just stop raping and interacting with women now and that would have an immediate effect on women. Whereas this does not seem to be the case with the environment.

I think a large enough population of women do have access to birth control and abortion that we alone, as females, can stop producing, and be vocal about why. At a minimum, we should refuse to live birth males. They have fairly accurate pee strips women can use. It doesn’t have to be amniocentesis. If it’s male, abort. If it’s female let it live.

I don’t think humans are so special that Earth and all other living beings will collapse without us. I believe the opposite, I believe all other life forms will thrive without our presence. I believe if we back out now, Earth can recover itself. It can heal. Over time, existing life forms will continue to evolve and change. It is possible that the changes could eventually produce a sapient being which is better developed to care for all life and live gently on Earth.
I have two children myself, I am not blame free. They were unintentional pregnancies (anti-biotics impact efficacy of Pill) I was guilted into birthing. They are incredible people, but they know they are accidents and they know I don’t want them to reproduce. They also understand it’s not personal, it’s not about them, it’s about Earth, it cannot support this population.
I am dying a slow death (kidneys). Actually, my active lifestyle and related body stress is accelerating my disease over what it would progress. I have refused medical treatment. I just can’t justify it. In the US, healthcare is a capitalistic industry. I won’t allow them to profit from me any more. Especially knowing the damage my existence does to Earth.
None of this means I do not think humans can recover, but we can only do that by eliminating, in large part, existing and future males. It has to happen. Men need to be told this: we will only breed daughters with you, and we will only breed when all daughters are already in safe, stable and loving homes. In the future, we may allow some males as breeding stock. There really is no other option.

The collapse of the planet and identifying that men’s are the cause of it, is extremely fucking surreal! thanks for opening space for this topic. The way I see it, yes, the global climate is fucked and it will soon lead to the institutions of patriarchy starting to crumble, with all the male violence that comes with it.
On the question of whether this planet will turn into another planet venus (mars is actually not a very “violent planet, I have read somewhere that the atmosphere around mars is very thin, so all energy mars emits immediately leaves its atmosphere, whereas venus is violently stormy because of its thick atmosphere which doesn’t allow energy to leave), I think that the earth is very resilient, and that if men would stop right now to drain her and rape her at every turn, her ecosystems might actually get repaired fairly “quickly.” However, it doesn’t matter if Earth will soon become completely inhabitable or if patriarchy will “only” crumble and very many people will die and some might survive – I still try to prepare for having to survive without civ infrastructure as much as I can. Part of this is finding women with whom to form a close group of syngergy, as well as learning as much as I can about permaculture, energy healing, making clothes… maybe thats naive, I don’t know. All i know is that the thought that this is soon going to end calms me and fills me with hope, because at least THIS necrophilia on steriods won’t go on.
This is why I think any kind of activism in the “accepted” sense is futile, why would we want to go on talking to me at all when we need ALL our focus and resources for ourselves and other women? I think this is an emergency situation, and any investment in the current society is lost energy. Incidentally, I read recently that conservative scientific estimates predict a completely ice-free summer in the arctic (or antartic? or both). Anyway this means that a lot of sunlight will not be reflected anymore into the atmosphere and will instead be absorbed by the oceans whihc will accelerate all the feedback loops concenring climate, acidification of oceans etc. 2018!! It is estimated that 2016 will be the first summer when the pole caps won’t freeze completely.
It is uncanny that Daly also mentions the year 2018, I have this hunch that by 2018 it will be clear as day even to the now oblivious that civ is going to fall apart. I can relate to what you wrote concerning how everyhting feels so petty compared to this knowledge. I have felt this same way for a while, I can#t take anything seriously anymore, especially work. The Thing about NTE that seems to have Sealed the Deal is the apparent fact that there are over 400 Nuclear Reactors in this world now, thanks to Men, and these Reactors require Electricity to bring cooled water into the Reactors so they do not Melt Down and spill Toxic Radioactivity into the environment, which would quickly Contaminate the World. In other words, We cannot just shut down the Grid and Walk away now, and go Primitive, even if “we” decided We wanted to. At the very least, We would require enough structure, including Electricity, Regulation, Oversight and Maintenance to keep the Reactors at Status Quo, and that’s without anything Physically Damaging them, as we saw happen in Japan with its Tsunami. So there are these Climate Feedback Loops which will make it more and more Unpleasant and Uninhabitable here, but the real threat, or at least the Final one, is that it all leads to shutting down the Grid. That is why plants and smaller animals, and perhaps things even Smaller than that, will die with Humans. I Offer this for Consideration of what the NTE has identified as the Real Issue, and so we can be Educated when we Think and Speak of it. Don’t worry, the despair has completely worn off by now and as I said earlier it does show to me that whatever the end outcome, current responses are the same: form IRL groups with trusted women, learn skills that would help for survival (healing, craft making, building, planting, clothe-making, soap-making etc) and calmly strategize for future. I don’t think this is naive at all, I think this is a very wise thing to do.

I read this essay this morning and I’ve been thinking about it all day. I think it’s really interesting that some of you have said you felt like you always knew this would happen. I’ve always had that too. I’ve never been able to picture myself any older than about 40-45 and if this Guy guy is right, then that’s right about on schedule for the end of days.
At first I was thinking, “oh god, I don’t want to die at 40!” but that’s kind of subsided and now I’m thinking, “oh god, I don’t want to die horribly at 40!” so I really like how we’re all talking about practicalities like communication and learning new skills. Even if Guy is wrong and it’s not 15 years, it’s more like 100 years, time spent improving your skill set and planning for emergencies is never really time wasted.
If civilization does collapse, I think staying in your house would probably not be do-able, depending on where your house is. If you’re in an urban area, you should probably leave. If you’re rural, it might be wise to stay where you are but if you’re alone, you probably don’t stand a chance. So even if we did know each others addresses, we probably wouldn’t be at home. Each nation state will react to extreme climate changes in different ways. We might not reach the point of having to struggle for survival. We might be ‘culled’ as part of an effort to reduce the population. We might drown in a tsunami or be killed in one of the inevitable wars that will break out over increasingly scant resources. If we really truly believe that human life is going to be extinct in 15 years time, then realistically, we have maybe five years of carrying on the way we are at best. Should we use that time to organize geographically? Do we stand a better chance of (longer) survival if we’re all together? If we all have less than fifteen years to live, then I want to just grab my daughter, my sister, and my mum, and go and live on some women-only commune in, like, rural Kansas or somewhere. In the middle of a large land mass, nowhere near a coast. That kind of stuff needs to be planned before mass transit shuts down.
But I don’t know who to believe and I feel under-equipped to verify the facts for myself. Actually even as I typed that I knew it wasn’t true. I’m not under-equipped at all. I don’t know what’s keeping me from checking it out thoroughly… it’s certainly not time. Fear maybe? I’m suddenly reminded of a time capsule I buried with my class when I was about 7, to be opened in 100 years. We put all kinds of shit in in that we thought kids of the future would want to see and each wrote a letter telling them about ourselves and what we did at school. I wrote about the project I did on Henry VIII’s wives. I haven’t thought about that in forever and it’s sad that no one is going to get to open it.

This time/space that we call Earth and Home is nothing more than a blip in the Universal. Our energy here (and the way we refine/use it) connects to all energy ‘everywhere’, ‘forever’. It is wise to be self-centered for this reason alone here and now.
We cannot save the world – whether it lasts for 15 more years or a million – but we can cultivate our own unique energy signature and know that it connects to other uniques in ways that we have been blinded to. This is what a woman’s ‘gut instinct’ is.

The Anti-Apocalypse. This was the name given to a pure mathematics equation by its formulator: the young, genius female mathematician/nuclear particle physicist I worked with for one year when I was nineteen years old.

The year was 1978 – when the movie Apocalypse Now was released – and The Anti-Apocalypse was named thus because it was an equation for human co-operation: how to avoid apocalypse. I can never listen to Smokey Robinson’s One Heartbeat (an otherwise mediocre song) without thinking of of what it really means: the inspiration for one equation. To anyone who understands mathematics it was Game Theory on sub-atomic level.

However, because of her I have no fear of science. I do not consider science a ‘men only’ realm although they stole it from women centuries ago and have turned it into a priestly order much like patriarchal religions. I believe women are natural scientists because it was women who first studied the properties (curative, abortive, nutritional) of plants; who first studied chemistry (men deride it as “cooking, fermentation and brewing”), women who invented mathematics, and so much else. And I know it was women, with their holistic thinking processes, who first understood the interconnected world because comparative mythology tells me so. Men give that the scary name of Complex Systems Thinking.
Over the decades I have read a lot of science for one reason; the microbiology of Lynn Margulis and the complex systems thinking and Limits To Growth of Donella Meadows. They were not feminists but they understood. And who hasn’t read Rachel Carson’s Silent Spring?
Over the last ten years I have studied neuroscience and the brain/body system (neuroimmunology) partly in order to understand – at its very core- what Complex PTSD is, its cause and its cure. (NOT Big Pharma medicine or the quack, quack quackery of psychiatry but “homeostasis.”)
And all that time- burned into my mind- was the vision of one sub-atomic mathematics formula for human cooperation that, one distant Tuesday afternoon, its female formulator scribbled down for me on a llegal pad.
“I don’t understand mathematical notation but I do play chess. This is a chess game with a difference because I can see the pattern. This is a Win-Win game not a Zero Sum, isn’t it?” is what I spoke at the time.
“Yes,” was the answer.
However, there is one problem with the Anti-Apocalyspe: men do not know how to play at cooperation. All they know is Zero Sum: winner take all. It works only when women ‘play.’ I know because it was tested decades ago by a team of four girls using our city as a test laboratory.
We were so successful that we caught the attention of a national Christian fundamentalist Reverend who, together with his freakish disciples, attempted to burn the nineteen year old I was at that stake – as a witch and devil’s harlot- in the middle of the city: documented.
Therefore, when I first came across the subject of NTE I did not ignore it; climate science – based as it is on undeniable laws of physics and chemistry- not a pseudoscience or quackery.
“It was thirty six years ago that you knew how to stop Apocalypse Now but you didn’t do anything, did you?,” I thought to myself after basic research. “You’ve had that formula for thirty six years……..although women have been telling you the same thing for millennia without the fancy mathematics. You’ve been thwarting our cooperation for millennia.
So here we are: endgame.”
I have no idea how quickly the climate will change although I do think extinction by 2030 is far too soon. I think – I pray- that all the women reading this may live out the rest of their lives before it happens: but it will not be the life of today.

I have never delurked to comment anywhere before because it was immense joy for me only to read young and older women assisting themselves in our truly insane society. At least we are speaking: not killing and raping.

Well, I agree with BlackMetal that Guy is really full of it. I generally can’t even read his piece of shit article without thinking about how:
a) It’s all cherry picked scientific studies/ opinions to support his lifestyle/bias
b) we have no way of testing or understanding these “scientific facts” to see if they can materialize into something meaningful for US
c) He’s calling everything he’s saying true, and using numbers that none of are even sure that are exact or what they really mean
So really, why waste our time giving him the time of day?
Here’s what we do know: Men destroy all lifeforms to exist. Especially those lifeforms and land that we women would otherwise take care of, and use to nurture eachother’s existence. There’s no doubt that men are parasites to the earth. And even if everything were to collapse this century, I think here’s where the idea of separatism itself makes sense.

His work is **full** of how male violence and domestic violence comes from the same place as the violation of the Earth. He survived a physically abusive father, who repeatedly raped him. This is true. I’ve read many Derrick Jensen books but he is a social constructionist. He doesn’t believe men are inherently violent, or that there are any difference in behaviors and powers between men and women based on biology. He talks about “male violence” in the lens that it is stemming from “masculine socialization”. That there are two genders, masculine and feminine, and that males are made into men, and females are made in to women. He says the masculine dominates the feminine, and that males are disabled by this socialization because they are “forced” to turn off their emotions and see everything as an object. Which is obvs bullshit. Men don’t have gendah, only women do. Men encompass all of humanity, even with their retarded biology.
Violence itself is also inherently male, something he seems to skim over. He also doesn’t believe women should separate from men, and he skims over all scientific evidence that proves men are prone to violence and inherently parasites. And he makes no commentary on how PIV is rape, is not necessary to reproduce, is harmful to women, and causes unwanted pregnancy/ is a way for men to steal women’s reproductive autonomy to produce more males.
He’s also an indigenist, he believes indigenous people’s should have the land back. Which doesn’t mean specifically indigenous women, it means indigenous men also, which is problematic.

As a woman who is not quite yet ‘old’ and remembers very much what it was like to be ‘young’ I’ll say that radical women -of all ages – have always had a sense/reality of a foreshortened life. Why wouldn’t we?
blackmetal, we understand that you are anti-environmentalist to the point that you deny men’s biocide and the possibility of men’s destruction threatening our survival and the survival of most species on earth. I don’t think such a denial of men’s destruction of the environment is acceptable or helpful. Whether some women will survive or not is a matter that we obviously can’t predict (or i can’t at least) so it’s beyond the point of the discussion to prove that every living being will die or not. But we have knowledge that a mass destruction of life is possible and we have to live with this possibility, and I certainly think it’s wise to prepare for such an event the best we can. Even if most species survive there will inevitably be a drastic rising of sea levels, worse and worse climate disasters etc, and a possible collapsing of men’s current industrial system and at the very, very best we have to prepare for this, either mentally or materially, whichever way is available to us. Doing so has has nothing to do with joining male environ-mental movements, it has nothing to do with men but with the strengthening of our chances for survival as females and radical feminists. I certainly don’t think planning for our future survival is incompatible with radical feminism, in fact it’s part of it, and has always been. Not only I will never stop involving myself in furthering radical feminist thought and working with women for consciousness-raising and freeing ourselves from men on an every-day, small-scale basis, but knowing this reinforces the need to create small communities of radical feminist women and local separatist networks of solidarity, transmission of knowledge and skills, etc.

@sarsea, this universal blip that is life on earth is nonetheless where we live right now and I’m in love with the life that has developed here. Of course, if we look at things in an even more macro level, planets and stars have their own life span too. On day, perhaps in more millions of years, I have no idea, the middle of the earth will cool down. And the sun will die too, I can’t remember, according to the size of the sun, whether it will explode and then become a ‘black hole’ or a white thingy. I looked it all up more than a year ago and now i’ve forgotten, because i didn’t write anything down. The point isn’t so much to go against natural lifespans of earth but to survive premature killing of life on earth by human males. I have no conscious knowledge of what it’s like to live as an energy so it’s not necessarily something that i’m looking forward to as an alternative to life on earth. Earthly contact with women and with living beings is blissful, with all the variety of ways in which we can interact, physical, psychic, energetic, cosmic, etc.

At any rate, another effect this has had on me is that it certainly put some perspective on the shallowness of so much of feminism these days, and how off-reality it is not to name maleness as the problem, and the threat they represent to all women and other living beings, to the extent that they are potentially leading us to global extinction. I mentioned the Reactor problem because it has been Suggested here that it is “Merely” men’s Hubris that would lead them or anyone to Conclude that all Life will perish when “People” (men) do. But sadly, in this Case, we see that Men’s hubris that all Life is dependent on them, has caused them to Make it So. Please read and Respond to the Reactor problem, if you can. It is a central point to NTE, and I believe it was first broached by a Woman, which is not a Surprise. It’s tempting to believe that doomsday won’t happen but there are more than one way in which global extinction is likely to be caused, and some don’t need rocket science to be understood. The reactor problem for instance is very simple and easy to understand, i don’t see how this can be denied either: it’s a logical outcome of a condition that is highly likely to happen: closure of the grid. Thanks for bringing it up again Tracy. Reactors are dependent on electricity for cooling, and if there’s no electricity available to cool the reactors, then it can cause the reactors to explode: this makes sense. The northern hemisphere, and in particular the US, Japan, Canada, Germany and France (and the UK is to re-launch nuclear energy again too apparently) are littered with atomic reactors all over the country. If one explodes, then it is also likely to set a domino-chain of explosions with the other reactors too, depending on how far they are from each other.
I wonder whether the collapse of men’s indsutrial patriarchy and subsequent violence that is likely to ensue, will trigger a mass awakening in most women and whether if this is the case, whether it will be of any use to end patriarchy just before it is too late.

Feeling a lot like a Cassandra here but anyway. Here goes:
Blackmetalvalkyrie: You mentioned “outliers” before. Please remember that Mary Daly was one such: reviled by ‘academentia’ because her ideas and writing style were too out there for them. Outlier also Andrea Dworkin.
Once upon a time I was also considered an “outlier” in my own former field of forecasting (NOT climate science) and I always preferred working with outliers because I found them far more knowledgeable than others. And less arrogant. Sure, there were some freakazoids along the way but they were easy to spot and weed out.
And guess what? The outliers are almost always correct in their predictions, the only problem being that they tend to “see” their predictions/calculations/ results of research as happening far earlier than they actually do. You learn to adjust an outlier’s forecasting because they are “directional”: pointing the far future direction of a particular market (in business) while everyone else is clueless or fast asleep.
From outliers is where the business world/the scientific community etc. gain their ideas because ultra-conservative minds rarely/if ever have them.
Radical feminists, too, are extreme outliers: the reason for this comment, which becomes clear on reading further.
Have you ever heard of the Pareto Principle/ 80-20 Rule or the law of the vital few? It states that, for many events, roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. Example: How many suffragettes – in total number- were there during the first wave of feminism? Not many – that vital few- but they managed to achieve much that I am grateful for today. The vital few make waves.
Almost certainly it was female outliers who, in the far distant past our our species’ history, discovered fire, invented horticulture, writing and much else although men – as always- give themselves the credit for this.
Outliers: I use the pseudonym Bronte here because it has special significance in my life; since childhood over and over again called a “heretic.” If I had been born in the middle ages they would have burnt me as a witch at the age of five. Anyway, you mentioned Guy McPherson as an outlier. I really could not care less about him because, in the end, my beliefs about the state of the world did not derive from him. I have no idea how old you are but I am in my 50’s. Apart from formal studies, over the last thirty years I have read and read and read and read mountains of books on many subjects, lots of those science books. Over three decades of reading, travelling, living in different countries and cities, meeting and working with people from all over the world you get a feel for how the world works and the direction it is going. When I first came across the subject of NTE (and yes, it was via Nature Bats Last), I read the Climate Summary, switched off my computer and asked myself, “How could I have missed this? I thought I was fully awake.”
Reading that Climate Summary was like finding the last piece of a huge jig-saw puzzle that I had been piecing together in my mind since childhood. Yes, it is cherry picked data but, if you are able to connect the dots to form a picture together with information you already possess (skill some people have and others not) and if you are scientifically literate (as I am) then it becomes clear that – Ergo Sum: the result of two hundred years of western civilization and 250,000 or 200,000 years (depending on source) of the existence of homo rapiens on Earth.
Believe or not believe. It makes no difference because, as stated in a previous comment, when the changes occur they will convince on their own. However, I care about a small community of online radical feminists. You are dear to me because you are so rare: that vital few.

i went through some of the videos of this woman today, who calls herself spiritree and is a hoodoo witch. I discovered her through this blog.
In the following video, which she calls “how to become a powerful witch“, she discusses many things but what stayed with me was her short mentioning of her soul story, how as a witch she has been hunted down and killed for a very very long time but men have never managed to kill her completely since she pops back again in a new life on earth, as a female – by reincarnating again and again. She also talks of a sisterwitch from *another planet* who visited her one night to check in on her, as she asked for protection. I find that fascinating.
perhaps this also tells something of the resilience of our souls and energies and how we are connected in very deep ways to other souls in the universe. I know very little about the spirit-world in the universe. She tells about a spiritual hierarchy which sends her to a mission on earth (this is something that comes up in new age too, but i have no insight as to where this originally comes from from a historical/spiritual POV, nor do i have much material to analyse this critically) and it is something that i have been told about by another witch – that the universe is populated by different kinds of spirits which have different roles (i’m not going into detail of what she told me though).
I don’t know what to think about it, but all this is thought-provoking. When the material world is being killed, i think that to develop our strength and knowledge about the spiritual world is something important, and watching her video now is very timely and resonates with past information that has been given to me.
Something that i’ve also been wondering about is whether magic can do anything to stop the male craze, or even prevent the doomsday. Since mind is matter, the mind can also influence matter, and this has been verified both by witches and measured by science too. Witches can put objects in motion just with the power of their thoughts/mind, and spirits sometimes can affect material objects too. but i wonder to what extent it can influence matter and how it can influence our survival in this destruction. Witches are known for being able to disrupt electricity or magnetic fields.
Obviously we must assume that women have been using magic for thousands of years, and have no doubt used it to attempt to put male dominance to an end. Just as women have always been fighting men’s supremacy in all ways possible, and yet women’s power has only been quenched decade after decade, century after century. And visibly, other spirits from the universe have participated in this fight to put patriarchy/maleness to an end, too. A lot of spirits seem to be very attached to this life on earth to go back to it for so long in the hope of changing things. I’m personally very attached to life on earth too.
Many lesbian separatists and feminists of all kinds are either witches or interested in magic to various degrees, but in the radical feminist literature, very litle has been written about witchcraft and magic per se, or it is generally seen as separate from radical feminism. The closest I have come to reading about witchcraft and radical feminist interpretations and insights of it is in the work of Mary Daly. Or maybe that’s a misrepresentation of her work, since her radical feminism is witchcraft and her witchcraft is radical elemental feminist. That is, both are the same, and she conjures her radical feminist words as she conjures spells, and her sparks certainly have the effect of a cosmic spell on women – or of breaking the spell of male mindbindings.
Hi Bronte, thanks for giving ever more context and information about where you write from, it’s really helpful. I’m very admiring of all the knowledge and wisdom you managed to gain in all those years. What would the world be like if radical feminists and other wise and powerful women could gather together unhindered and teach each other our knowledge!
I hope or wish I will continue to have the opportunity to do that too, spend my time gathering information about the world, the universe, our history, our powers and crafts of all sorts, there are so many things to know.
Your insight on outliers is very interesting, and it certainly is true, at least in patriarchy. Since the beginnings of male rule, men have known well to suppress and punish outliers and geniuses by all means possible, especially female outliers (and if outliers do manage to produce something against all odds, their knowledge is leeched and re-appropriated as you say). Outliers are the threat to men’s rule because they have the power or potential to cut through the lies and brainwashing and give piercing information and intuitions. Though the proportion of 20/80% seems a lot to me, especially with regards to radical feminism and the women’s movement vs patriarchal conservatism. With women, the non-outliers or vast majority of women aren’t asleep but forcibly shut down and gagged. Maybe the 20-80 proportion could have been true at some very specific periods of liberation outbursts of women such as in the middle-ages or in other periods and places where masses of women managed to form autonomous, separatist communities and thrive in autonomous centres of knowledge and craft. But these days radical feminists represent a tiny, tiny portion of the population. Add to that the fact that men’s millennia of forced breeding and erasure of women’s culture and knowledge has created generations and generations of slaves. Not that all women don’t conserve a potential, but we are generally so repressed and occupied by men, very few of us manage to escape the nets of brainwashing and terror of feminism and female-centredness.
I would tend to believe that at a time, maybe 50,000 years ago or more or less, when human communities were somewhat developed, and women visibly had more containment power over men’s destructiveness/rapism and were more at the centre of society, and therefore must have had more control over their reproduction – that most women would have had their own specialisation or specialised power, or would have been a gifted ‘outlier’ in their own right.

Witchwind: I’m not sure what to think of the 80/20 proportion of the Pareto Principle, either, but I ponder it as much as I do the following: Dunbar’s Number.

Is this how patriarchy came about? The breaking of stable for millennia/centuries matriarchal clans and communities of 150-300 to form the greed, hate, gratuitous malice and violence-filled, psychopathic monster that exists today? And while men were forming their so-called ‘civilization’ and their empires with their myriad laws and “norms” (including gender), were they also killing/genetically culling from the gene pool the 20/30/40 or whatever percentage of particularly stubborn, courageous/ gifted (how I hate that word) women along the way?
My heritage is Italian and in that language there is an expression which translates literally as: “Don’t break my balls,” (Stop pissing me off. I’m fed up.) In Italian society certain woman are said to have “unbreakable balls.”
Those women are highly respected and feared : as much as lesser men try to break their so-called “balls.” (Ovaries?) Was this what happened? I’m certain it was: the breaking with every resource available of women’s spirit, courage, intelligence and power. After all, a good swift kick in the groin is enough to break any man’s balls……and I am certain this was done a lot by girls and women in the past.
I hope this was contributive and leads to further spinning. I have hated seeing all the doom talk from outlier women with unbreakable ovaries. We are still here despite the culling…….and we live as if we intend to stay here.

that is really funny with the dunbar’s number because this is one of the early intuitions i had as I was on my way to feminism, before I discovered radical feminism: that laws and tyrannical rule were only necessary in unnaturally super-large groups / and that the larger the group, the more there is a need for vertical hierarchy and the less cooperative and horizontal the group becomes / the more distanced people are from decision-making;
and second, that laws are only necessary in a case where people can’t access by themselves basic principles of respect and empathy towards life and our peers. That is, laws are only necessary for men. But male laws have never been in the interest of protecting life and of ensuring respect of biophilic /gynophilic principles, men apply such laws only so that the ruling male class protects itself against the violence and greed of other males and to ensure the efficient organisation of male rapism and proportional distribution of females to be raped by men.
This is why I first thought I was anarchist or anarcha-feminist but I quickly realised that anarchists had nothing to do with what they pretend to be and it’s just as patriarchal as the rest. Even Hobbes and other liberal intellectuals 200 years or more so ago, at the beginning of modern industrial patriarchy, said the same thing about men and why they needed laws: men are naturally “nasty, brutish and short”, he said.
Laws aren’t necessary in small female groups groups where there is a basic understanding of life and empathy for our peers. We can have organising rules that may help the efficiency of everyday affairs but these can be very flexible and evolve or be modified according to changing circumstances, changing awareness and to the reality of our needs. In this sense, they are alive – unlike laws, which are characterised by their complete separation from real life circumstances, their unnatural rigidity and immutability.
NB: Hobbes was one the major theorist of the modern legal industrial state, which is what he called the “social contract”. Which is of course about males of the ruling class ensuring “social order” (read: unperturbed tyranny of their class and repression of all dissent) in exchange of providing at least one female to each man. Notice that statesmen also convince lower class men to risk being killed at war by promising them unlimited rape – which is the actual point of war.
anyway, what this dunbar number (dumb number) suggests and what normal female intuition and knowledge derived from observation and experience suggests, is that real change should only be sought at the very local level, and it shows how relevant it is to seek to build small, autonomous and separatist networks, where the actions we take and the thoughts and reflections we carry out impact on us immediately, the ripple effects are immediate because there is this strong connection and trust between each other. This means change and evolution can only really happen this way. Combined with international connections with radical feminist women, the ripple effects thus go much further beyond the everyday local level.
This also puts into perspective the fact that most women have a natural aversion to male politicking. Above the fact that male groups are extremely hostile towards women and that homosociality is based on woman-hatred (and rape), I think many women must have this intuition that participating in anything beyond the local, small-group level is pointless since it has no real effect on our lives and this participation is really meaningless. Especially if women used to be the guardians of small-led communities, it would make sense that women know this subliminally.

i do also know that some witches make regular rituals to put patriarchy to an end, but if you’re not exactly sure what you’re doing the ritual for (ie if you think it’s “gender” doing the wrong instead of with males) well your ritual will be moot, won’t it. What if a greater number of radical feminists did the right rituals about the right things, especially those women who have special powers?
I also don’t hate all environmentalism. I think natural places are beautiful and need to be protected and trees and flowers rock.
Seth is/was an entity who described his existence very much like the witch you link to above WW. This entity began speaking through a woman, Jane Roberts, in the 60s and much material on a variety of subjects was produced over 15 years or so. I could talk for days about the impact Seth Speaks had on refining my instinctual understanding of energy/life and how limited we are in movement and creativity and fluidity in this particular space/time.
I read Seth Speaks (which generally is a description of non-physical consciousness and how energy flows in that plane of space/time, but also how non-physical consciousness interacts with our physical brand – and a sort of reincarnation process is a part of that) when I was a very young woman. I had grown up in a house that was *haunted* so I was very open to outlying thoughts from an early age anyway and SS helped me to make sense of what I realize now I already knew/had known ‘forever’. I thought a lot about what I’d read and had begun trying to be more consciously aware of my instincts and passing thoughts.
There came a day that I was alone on a foggy cliff overlooking the ocean and was deep in thought about all of this stuff when I became aware that someone was watching me very intently, but there was no one. The feeling of being watched kept getting stronger until I realized it was a bird, a starling, looking at me. And then the bird was in me and I was in the bird and there are no words to accurately describe the communication that passed between us but after that my perception of *this* space/time changed. Radically 🙂
Oh, and as for refining our energy signatures:
I simply mean that by self-centering we are doing just that – makes it easier to find like energy a midst all the energy that is.
And when we spin with others our signatures are spun together and we are connected – perhaps we are, some of us, already connected and are finding our ways back to each other in *this* space/time…

I’ll be calling on the voices of women since the beginning of time lost to male violence to channel through and seek manifest justice for what was done to them. When I was in Thuringia, Germany, I could often hear the women who had been persecuted there during the witch hunts. It was their pushing and constant reaching out to me that brought me back to witchcraft in the first place. I radicalized while in the city where the most women had been burned, not even knowing it at the time. I later looked into the history of the region because after radicalizing, I could hear them (part of being awake). Women who lost their lives to men have no resolution and are still bound in mourning. These women wanted to be remembered and they wanted justice for the crimes committed against them.

I really know nothing about witchcraft or powers. I’ve described myself as a totally intellectual and political person. My attitudes and beliefs of the world being completely based off radically deconstructing and connecting it to women’s personal lives, or in other words, I really just focus on men, the patriarchy, and the many different ways in which it controls us.
But I will admit, ever since I became a womyn-identified radical feminist, with a real conscious of the living world and other females, I began to have visions and these weird psychic experiences
Okay, so this year I haven’t been as focused on NTE as I was years before, but I’ve had random dreams about earthquakes, plane crashes, and visions of the apocalypse. All of these are things that have happened, and have been predicted to happen by scientists. Like my town had an earthquake, yet since I live on the east coast this NEVER happens. But ever since fracking, mini earthquakes have appeared, and I think we’re going to get bigger ones.
Also, this weird instance, it happened twice. Where I would think about women In which there was something about them I was drawn to romantically or spiritually, I’ll just say lesbian because those were the thoughts I was having about them, and then they would just suddenly appear right after I had finished thinking about them. Like women I knew in a professional environment and then I would see them in a place far outside this environment.
And these were women that I had never really talked to or knew anything about really. Just women I had noticed. And me simply thinking about them and admiring them drew them towards me.
I don’t know what that means. Maybe it shows how truly interconnected I can be to other women and how radical feminism has granted me actual powers because I have come to closer to truth and the real energies and essence of this world.
I can also have full fledged conversations with my dog now. He’s a male. BUt now I understand him more.
Mind you,I could NEVER do any of these things when I was a social constructionist radfem and part of DGR and lover of Derrick Jensen. The feminism is male-plugged, and women gain nothing from it because they are constantly occupied by the male presence, male needs, and male lies. The natural world isn’t just a pretty sight, we’re interconnected to it, and in many we came from mother earth, and I think it’s true that men’s civilization and all it’s complex systems of torture are destroying it, and that is wrong. I think of all the ways in which men abuse and domesticate other living beings and call it “advancement”. From the oldschool squeezing ( this has to fucking hurt, imagine how many women experience pain through just breastfeeding) of a female cows utters and stealing her calves milk for dairy and putting her in a cage with a bunch of male cows who rape her whenever they want, to companies clearcutting forests and polluting our drinking water with papermill waste.
I don’t think anti-natalism or recognizing that men’s rape of women steals our reproductive autonomy and forces us to reproduce dangerous numbers of males is misanthropic. It’s pretty obvious that this planet is not supposed to have all these damn Y chromosomes roaming the earth and reaping it. If we just stopped having dudes I don’t think overpopulation would a problem anymore.
@sarsea, i very much relate to trying to be more consciously aware of instincts and passing thoughts. Since I have started doing this, which is since i’ve entered radical feminism, it’s amazing how much information these passing thoughts give you when you pay attention to them, and how accurate they are. Which rejoins Skulldrix’s message: Flashes, visions and messages are usually very subtle when you’re not used to tuning into them. Being pre-occupied by male foreground prevents sensory and psychic receptiveness because of the need to shut ourselves and dissociate to survive constant invasion. which is why it makes perfect sense that radical feminism also unfolds certain powers we didn’t have before or weren’t aware of before.
as to Seth Speaks, I’m afraid to say I highly dislike “him”, from what i’ve found by browsing the Jane roberts website and extracts of his books. Putting aside the fact that the knowledge he talks about is common sense spiritual knowledge about life / energies, the universe, and that it’s good to have access to it etc – I don’t like the fact he used a woman parasitically to transmit his message. This guy says he refuses to reincarnate, yet he’s fine to use up a woman’s life just to transmit his message to the world. It’s not like he visits her for convos and she then transmits that herself, no, he uses her as a vehicle for his own expression, i find that really invasive. But what I dislike most about him is that his thought is totally new age in that he completely denies the reality of the male problem and talks of humans as if women and men were the same. It’s a complete mindfuck for women and it’s so guilt-tripping because the direct result is that it blames women for what men *are*. If Seth is really responsible for the beginning of new age in the US, well that’s a fucking big responsibility in terms of patriarchal propaganda and global mindfuckery of women.

What I hate most about new agers is that they treat men and women as if we were the same and had the same capabilities and same intentions. While totally re-appropriating women’s and radical feminists’ ancient wisdom on the spiritual / material world, but without acknowledging or crediting women at all (for instance that thoughts have electro-magnetic, material reality, that all thought precedes action and action can only derive from thought – hence the importance of consciousness raising etc) they completely deny the biological reality that males are genetic degenerates and inherently violent, that this is where violence and rapism comes from, and there’s nothing wrong with them or with their karma in the sense that this is what they are, their normal functioning mode. New-agers deny the reality of patriarchy and the fact that violence is a direct outcome of male supremacy and an outcome of their biology. Men will always only act within the constraints of their biology and testosterone intoxicated dick brains, they can’t exceed it.
This is not to dismiss the importance of the content of his message and the importance it had in furthering your own consciousness and powers, but if he’s a male spirit, and he seems to define himself as male, I just assume he leeched it off from females or female spirits / entities, just as any male would do. I don’t even understand how males have spirits though. I wonder how it works – are male spirits limited to the males on earth, or is there a superior male entity somewhere? We do know that all life is female, so is maleness a specific earthly phenomenon? Or are males just females spirits trapped in male bodies, since males are mutated females? That would be terrible wouldn’t it? Male spirits, if any such thing exists, certainly tend to be as perverted as their earthly presence. But again I need more information on this.

I think there was/is a time in which humans, whether on this earth or on another planet, where physical reality combined both the beauty of sensual, sensory life and fluidity and creativity brought by the flow of energy/life. I think it is only under patriarchy/male rule that female humans are not capable of fulfilling this. I cannot even imagine what the extent of our powers would be without the destruction of males.
I have a very strong belief of the beauty of life or life potential on earth. That there is something unique about it. Unless we have female big sister witches on some other planet where they are more developed and the earth is still struggling with major problems (maleness) that others don’t have. And the intergalactic spirit world seems very moved into trying to help us. All this is very fascinating and there’s so much more to explore.
but still, something is special here.

I did not say before how much I loved your first paragraph to this post: a hymn. I live in a place surrounded by green and birdsong. At the moment I am helping my mother plant a herb garden next to her fruit trees and I walk in the green whenever I can: the best restoration of mind and body equilibrium (homeostasis) and inner peace; known since forever, recorded by the ancient Greeks, forgotten/ignored/ridiculed by modern medicine, being studied again today by medicine.

Oh my. Looks as though I’ve given the impression that I am enamored by Seth “himself”. This is far from the case. When I read the book more than 25 years ago it was the metaphysics that intrigued me, not the ‘messenger’. No, Seth is a pompous ass and Jane Roberts was and is considered a crackpot by most of course. I’ve long felt that she had tapped into her own natural understanding of the metaphysical and because she was not a radical feminist did not (could not) recognize her own voice/creation.
As I was saying to a friend the other day, since we have so little in the way of women’s thoughts and theory we are more or less forced to take in information through a filter so that we are able to allow through the bits that help us to connect our own dots (rather as Bronte suggested) and leave the rest.

The level of prioritization isn’t even appalling anymore. It’s just sad. Today I saw that the Washington Monument in Washington DC, United States is reopening after a lengthy repair and renovation that cost hundreds of millions of dollars. Now I don’t expect that money to go to battered womens’ shelters or education for young girls. But to fund what is obviously a gigantic COCK right in the middle of the capital of United States is insulting. President Washington didn’t want or need such a memorial, but in early history of the United States, his fellow men needed a symbol to preserve their hegemony it is supposed. The ugly building couldn’t be more of an affront to global women’s dignity than if it had semen shooting out the top of it!
Meanwhile the power brokers and government leaders in Washington (who are about 99.2% male) give bare lip service to saving the planet, as though they actually care about anything other than themselves in the waning years of our planet’s life. Rebecca West’s vision is dead, but I never thought our demise as a species would seriously come from the stupidity of male penis showmanship via nuclear exchange or choking our air with greenhouse gas. The issue is likely meant as some more posturing for elections as the science is undeniable. Meanwhile, 267 women stolen in Nigeria – and declared for sexual slavery have gotten practically zero press in comparison. There is no news perhaps for culturally ingrained rape and slave trading, or maybe this is just more patriarchal sympathy.

I also wondered whether it was in fact jane Roberts talking. since she was very badly abused as a child, it’s quite possible that this was also a part of her splintered self. Yes, we do have to pick the gems amongst the surrounding muck and mindfuckery. This is why it’s such a relief to read radfem work because you can just relax and think about it and let the effects spin on you rather than having to stress about what to keep and what to throw away, it really takes a long time and it’s draining because you keep having to put it round and round until something makes sense.

I don’t think there’s much point in asking men to pay token attention to the women THEY abduct and then rape. Hundred thousands of women are abducted and sold in the world.
This case has brought more attention than usual because they abducted so many women at once, there was no way they could get away with that, let it go unnoticed. From a pimp/male perspective, it was a strategic blotch, although it didn’t prevent them from succeeding and selling the women. Pimps and criminals usually only abduct a few at a time, so that mothers and families have to face the mafia alone and can’t do anything about it, and nobody wants to be involved in this business and the local authorities usually support the criminals because there are many advantages for them to do so. And also families are often too “ashamed” to admit that their daughter has been abducted for prostitution, they lie about it and say she’s gone to find work in another country. So it goes completely unnoticed and there is very little organised effort, whether local or international, to protect girls, prevent men from doing it and punish the criminals. In the Nigerian case, I heard that the school officials and local authorities were complicit with the criminal group. This makes complete sense, and is pretty obvious. They knew it was going to happen, which is why there was absolutely no resistance or nobody “happened” to be there, I can’t remember the exact details now but whatever. How else could they take away 240 girls without anyone batting an eyelid?
Abductions happen with complete impunity and with the complicity of the authorities, in many countries such as Mexico, Brazil, in South-East Europe, South Asia, some parts of Africa etc, and also in Western countries but to a lesser extent – always in most impoverished areas and with marginalised people, whichever the country. I read that in Mexico, girls as young as 11 can be abducted in some rural villages, and the situation is so bad in these areas that mothers have to hide their girls so that the mafia won’t find them when they conduct raids, and they can no longer take their daughters out, going to school is a risk etc.
Perhaps this abduction in Nigeria might be an event to spring off from as women, maybe it will trigger an uprising. But asking men to #bringbackourgirls! is utterly pointless. You don’t nicely ask oppressors to stop, you make them stop. And this is the whole problem, how do we get away from men / stop them. Pimps won’t nicely hand back the girls they abducted. I’ve been told that some women have already been sold for 20$, some in forced marriages and others for prostitution.
although of course i do hope that women will manage to bring back their girls whichever the means. Saying it’s pointless to try isn’t something you can say to someone who has been abducted. It’s just so enraging to have to beg men, and to see that the first response is to beg men. I really hope women will get angrier.
It is lose-lose, no matter the result unfortunately. Perhaps the US and French security forces, which are all male btw, will proudly march the girls back to their village, where they can expect to live the rest of their lives under the protection of men, who will habitually rape and sell them into the slavery of their choice.
I would almost prefer that all the girls be killed now, because they’ve been so ruined by these events and the events to come. Shoot them all in the head now, quickly and painlessly. But that would rob them of the slim opportunity to rise up in society and turn the tables on their subjugators. They did not ask for this abuse.
err, the killing of women bit is not in order, that sounds a bit trollish. In that case we should all kill each other now to end our suffering. The opposite is true.
